You will simply have to add more extenders in whatever direction the core is offset from center - but you may be able to remove some in the others as the green box is not accurate, and if your core is near the middle there, the actual bounding box may extend a distance beyond the green box in that direction. This is likely the problem you are experiencing.now, and as was said, the green outline doesn\'t depict this either. Guides I've seen say to activate the docking beam from within the larger ship with the smaller ship in the docking zone, but that doesn't seem to do anything. The docking grid is green, but I can't seem to get my other ship to dock with it. Then on the ship that is docking, put a rail docker which must face in the direction of the rail. To use the new system, you put down a single rail basic. The new docking system (Rails) and the old docking system (Green Boxes) can't be on a ship. an 11x11x11 ship with the core in the front for instance will not fit because the back is more than 5 tiles away from the core. So I created a big, honking industrial mining ship and attached a docking module at bottom. They changed turrets and docking in the last patch. So you could have an 11x11x11 ship fit in a standard docking module with no extenders, but only if the core was dead center. There is a certain # of blocks from the ship\'s core in every direction which is permitted. This is not how docking modules work, unfortunately. Press T while in flight mode to bring up the control menu, then select the rail docking unit from the control menu. After coming back to starmade to see recent changes I started a new game, fresh install. ![]()
